AIHP Knowledge and Sharing Summit & Marketplace an energizing event for innkeepers
In early April, RezStream was off to attend the Association of Independent Hospitality Professionals’ (AIHP) Knowledge and Sharing Summit & Marketplace. The summit was a great chance to meet with innkeepers and feel the energy and enthusiasm you still have for your industry.
Some fun stats we received from Rob Fulton, AIHP CEO, include:
- 98% of survey respondents would rate the summit as good or excellent
- 100% said they achieved their goals of attending the summit
- 90% said they are likely to attend the 2017 summit in Long Beach, CA
- $20,114 was raised at the auctions which will support B&Bs for Vets, the residents of Flint through the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, and to support AIHP
We had a great time in the marketplace and were quite impressed with the organization of the summit, as were the attendees. There were tons of educational sessions and tracks and plenty of time to meet with AIHP’s partners to see what we can do for your business. Educational sessions ranged from financial tips to public relations advice and everything in-between. We loved the opportunity to continue the education in the marketplace as we learned more about various innkeepers’ businesses and what tools they need to succeed.
The educational sessions’ presentations are available online to members of AIHP.
We’d like to invite you to save the date now for an unprecedented conference in Long Beach, CA where the California Association of Boutique and Breakfast Inns (CABBI), Select Registry, and AIHP are partnering for a combined conference on board the Queen Mary from January 29 – February 1, 2017.
