Automatic Booking Engine Deposit

The dudes have outdone themselves this time.  They built the ability for the online booking engine to automatically process a deposit payment at the time of the online reservation.  For most of you, this feature will save you a very tedious step of taking the first of two payments for every reservation.  No need to write in and thank them, beers are on us in celebration!

In order to take advantage of this feature you will need to be utilizing integrated credit card processing which utilizes the Shift4 payment gateway.  If you aren’t processing in this manner, you can reach out to the team to get more details at support@temp.rezstream.com.

If this is already setup, please follow the instructions below to start utilizing the time-saving feature.

Step 1:  Setup a deposit policy that is calculated “0” days after the reservation is created.

Step 2:  Turn the automation on!

Step 3: Familiarize yourself with how it works. 

Side Note: This also enables the ability to accept a full payment for online gift certificates at the time of purchase.
