Reintroducing Rates on Your Booking Engine Calendars

In order to streamline and improve your guest’s booking experience, we are reintroducing rates on the Full Availability Calendar and simplifying the rate experience on your Website Calendars.

A great booking experience should be both simple and informative.  So, we removed barriers to make a reservation while providing the most useful information at the right time. With this enhancement, the rates displayed on calendars have been simplified to display only the primary available rate. If you don’t have any available rates, they will be properly closed and unavailable. This simplifies the experience for the guest by giving them a quick way to compare the overall rates for available units without overwhelming them with rate choices too soon in the process!



In addition, we’ve added the Promo field to the new selection box when choosing dates on the full availability calendar for each entry. If restrictions apply to the selected nights, they will also be shown here to guide the guest.



Finally, the Website Calendar widgets have been simplified to follow the same logic with regards to rates. We’ve removed the Rates drop-down to make it easier for your guests to understand and continue with their booking.



If you find you’d rather not display rates on the Full Availability Calendar, you can toggle the option off in the Booking Engine Configuration > Full Availability Calendar.
