PMS-3001 — Change the “thing action” menu icon from “thing” to standardized icon

Previously, rezStream Cloud used the icon of the “thing” you were looking at as the “more actions” menu button. So, for example, when viewing a person, you would have a gray button in the upper right with a “Person” icon on it and a drop-down caret. That was somewhat non-intuitive/confusing and modern web/mobile apps have standardized on the concept of either a horizontal or vertical ellipsis for the purpose of “more actions”. So, with this release, we have followed suit and replaced those buttons with a horizontal ellipsis. Note this affects Reservations, Invoices and People views.

After printing or emailing a letter, the contents of that letter/email is stored in the Contact Log (again, for Reservations, Invoices and People). When expanding a Contact Log entry, there was a “View” button. That has been reworded to “Email / Print” which lets the user know they can re-email or re-print that letter.

It is also more intuitive to do both things from the View Contact Log screen (previously, there was ONLY a Resend button and although the user could print from the next screen, it wasn't obvious from this screen that you could do so).

To let users know when a new report has been released or an existing report has changed, there are now some UI hints to let users know there is new/updated report. That looks like this:
