Google Hotel Ads Makes a Move

We at RezStream know that as a property owner your number one goal is to fill your rooms, and Google does too. With the introduction of Google Hotel Ads in 2010, you can show hotel information in a more useful way via sponsored listings in Google Maps and Google Search results. Google has recently recognized the success property owners have had with Hotel Ads but wants to address the feedback of those having a hard time managing their Hotel Ads in a separate platform from Google Ads.

At Google’s Marketing Live Keynote, they announced that Google Hotel Ads would be making a move to the Google Ads platform. Named Hotel Campaigns, this new campaign type will allow for property owners to manage advertising efforts more efficiently. Read here for Google’s highlighted benefits of the new campaign.

Hotel Campaigns will continue to be feed-based with a new Hotel Center designed to make it easier for property owners to optimize and manage their hotel price feeds. Released in phases, the Hotel Center will simplify feed troubleshooting, promptly optimize your feed’s health and act as a central hub for other price feed-based features.

While this is still in the testing phase, stay up to date for the full release later this year by signing up for our FREE e-mail newsletter that highlights our monthly blogs and current updates within the digital space.
