Maine’s 94th Annual Conference
Earlier this month, we attended the Maine Innkeepers Association’s 94th annual conference and enjoyed the opportunity to meet with Maine innkeepers and other vendors we don’t see nearly as often as we’d like.
Since 1921, the Maine Innkeepers Association has served the lodging industry and in the past 10 years has kept the conference price the same to make it affordable for smaller properties to continue to receive industry education, meet with vendors, and network with peers.
One thing we appreciated about the Maine conference was their one-hour best practices session where innkeepers got to share and trade ideas on operations, marketing, or anything that impacts the hospitality industry. The conference included many sessions and seminars on embracing change in the industry and with travelers, increasing online visibility, adding diversity to your marketing strategy, and several specialty breakout sessions.
We had a great time meeting with innkeepers in Maine and showing off our RezStream Cloud software and hearing the ideas and strategies discussed during the marketing sessions to see how our online marketing programs stack up.
