Occupancy Map 2.0

Reservations now have rounded corners

This change makes it a bit easier to comprehend arrival/departure dates at a glance. This is particularly helpful on the left/right edge of the map because a reservation that started BEFORE the first date on the map will have square corners (indicating it started/arrived before that date) and likewise square corners on the right-hand side indicate that reservations go off into the future.

For existing users reservations will still display by "Day" on the Occupancy Map rather than by "Night". Because that change might feel pretty dramatic for existing users, they can choose to opt-in to that feature when they are ready to make that change.

This can be done in the Occupancy Map Settings > Display Settings:

Upon making that change, your reservation assignments will now shift a half day to the right - arriving in the afternoon on the day of their arrival and departing in the morning of their departure date:

As you can see in the above screenshot, the red line that indicates today has been moved BEHIND the assignments and when you have reservations departing and arriving today, you can very clearly see the departures AND the arrivals on the map and the line in between them.

In addition to that, the selection, hover, drag, and extending styles have been updated to be more obvious and consistent (using a dashed outline). Additional information has been added to the "New Selection" box (the name of the unit, the number of nights you've selected, and the arrival/departure dates) and, finally, there are also new tooltips to re-enforce the selected arrival/departure dates:

Finally, some of this styling work did bleed over onto the Quick Rate Editor map. The tooltip styling has been updated to match the tooltip styling in the rest of rezStream Cloud, the selection styling uses the new dashed outline approach, and the start and end date tooltips also appear there:

As always, we hope you enjoy this latest update and thanks for using rezStream!
