October resort conferences recap

In October, RezStream had the good fortune to attend two conferences, the Minnesota Resort and Campground Association (MRCA) and the Community of Minnesota Resorts (CMR), and share some insight on optimizing your resort’s online presence and demonstrate our RezStream Cloud software.

First up was the MRCA, held October 24 – 26 in Breezy Point, with Melissa Harrison as the featured presenter. It was great seeing many attendees and having the chance to chat with resort owners and managers about current struggles in the industry and share success stories and tactics we’ve seen our clients use.

Next was the CMR where our own Jeff Hebrink shared tips and tricks in his presentation, “Optimizing your resort’s presence for online reservations!” With more than 148 million reservations being made online and 65% of those on your own website, it’s important that your property can take these reservations and that your site is optimized to reach new travelers. Your site should also be a hub of information to help those travelers plan their vacation and make their reservation directly with you! After his presentation, Jeff was representing RezStream at the trade show and had some excellent conversations with resort owners about the industry and how to find the right software for their needs.
