Takeaways from MRCA and CMR Trade Shows

Recently RezStream had the opportunity to attend two industry conferences; the Minnesota Resort and Campground Association (MRCA) and the Community of Minnesota Resorts (CMR). At both shows, RezStream shared insights on how to optimize properties’ online presence and demonstrated our RezStream Cloud software.

Held at Superior Shores Resort and Conference Center, the Minnesota Resorts and Campground Association focused on how to offer modern tools and features to help property owners improve their overall business. The keynote speaker, Ted Schick, gave an informative presentation on how to successfully implement change in organizations, a poignant topic given the many changes happening within the hospitality industry.

Our customer success consultant, Jeff Hebrink, had the privilege to participate in a panel discussion on the topic of Optimizing Your Resort’s Presence for Online Reservations. Jeff shared everything property owners need to know about providing guests with the flexibility to book units on their own time, add packages/point of sale items to upgrade their reservation, and why you should sell gift certificates as an additional way to collect revenue.

At the Community of Minnesota Resorts trade show, people heard about a wide variety of topics pertaining to the lodging industry. We had a successful and busy few days meeting with many attendees and took the time to chat with resort owners and managers about their day-to-day struggles in the industry and shared success stories we’ve seen with RezStream clients.

At both conferences, Jeff spent time demonstrating the RezStream Cloud software. Attendees were able to watch and learn how our cloud software can help drive revenue, save time, and streamline the booking process.
