Upgrades to enhance RezStream tCMS
RezStream’s Turn-key Content Management System (tCMS) websites are receiving some exciting new updates this July! In this two-part blog series learn about the tCMS, get a few sneak peeks of the upgrades, and see if the upgraded website solution is a good fit for your property.
The upgrades will only enhance the original idea behind the product: A user-friendly and conversion-focused design that meets your guests’ needs and directs them through the booking process. The Content Management System (CMS) portion of this design allows our hoteliers to update their website immediately or add special promotions on a moment’s notice.
A CMS or tCMS website is becoming more important to our clients, and especially one that incorporates Responsive Website Design (RWD) as Google’s mobile algorithm update took place about a week ago. This mobile update means that if your site isn’t mobile-friendly, we mean the entire site with every page, your site won’t be as visible as it was before. RWD comes standard in all tCMS websites and an exciting upgrade in July will include new layouts, which are of course mobile-friendly.
After the RezStream tCMS upgrade, there will be 3 additional theme layouts to choose from. From showcasing high quality imagery to prominently displaying availability calendars, your site will now be more customizable depending on the experience you want your online visitors to have.
Another upgrade that improves the user experience is the website speed enhancements. Google and your online users want a website that loads quickly, users will no longer wait around more than 3 seconds for your site to show up. The page speed enhancements pass Google’s PageSpeed Insights Test and a fast-loading website is always good for your potential guests.
Finally, an enhancement to look forward to is an added Area Guide section that’s connected with Google Maps to help your potential guests plan their vacation and book their accommodations – all in one place!
